Built on the SIF standard

Students, contacts, staff, schools, enrollment and transportation are modelled on the Schools Interoperability Framework.

Automatic write-back

Change Data Capture picks up edits made in the hub, including parent updates from self-service portals, and pushes them back to your SIS.

Failures never block the queue

Records that fail to apply are parked with their error and retried later, so one bad record doesn't stop the sync.

Policy as data

Business rules such as bus-registration eligibility live in rule tables. A policy change is a data update, not a software release.

Schema as code

Every table, view and procedure is version-controlled and deployed as a repeatable package to Azure SQL or SQL Server.

The problem it solves

A typical school authority has a student information system, a transportation system, a fee system, identity, and a growing list of portals and reports. Connect each one to each other and you get dozens of brittle integrations that nobody fully understands.

SIF-HUB puts a single canonical model in the middle. Data comes in once, is reconciled once, and is served to everyone in the shape they need.

What it powers

Learning apps. Rosters for your LMS and classroom tools come straight from the hub, so students and teachers have the right classes from the first day.
Parent self-service. In ContactPortal, families update contact details and register for busing through a portal backed by the hub, and their changes flow back to the SIS.
Transportation exports. Clean, shaped exports for routing and billing systems, generated straight from hub views.
Analytics. A trustworthy source for Actful-KPI dashboards.
Identity provisioning. The hub combines staff from HR with contractors and vendors from their own systems, so Microsoft AD and Entra ID can provision and deprovision an account for everyone who needs one.

Proven in production

SIF-HUB runs today at the centre of a Calgary K-12 school authority’s student-data integrations, linking PowerSchool, transportation, fee payment and a parent portal.
